Who We Are

FBU Nebraska is a statewide postseason all-star football program that brings together talented young athletes from communities, schools, and football organizations across Nebraska.

As part of the Football University National Championship (FBUNC), our program gives athletes an opportunity to compete beyond their local leagues and test their abilities against high-level competition from across the United States.

FBU Nebraska fields four competitive teams: 10U, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade. Each team is assembled through a competitive selection process designed to identify talented athletes and build balanced rosters capable of representing Nebraska on the national stage.

Our purpose is straightforward: bring Nebraska's talent together, challenge our athletes to improve, and build teams that can compete with the best in the country.

Bringing Nebraska's Best Together

Nebraska has a proud football tradition, with talented young athletes developing their abilities in communities throughout the state. FBU Nebraska creates an opportunity for those players to come together under one banner.

Athletes who spend their regular seasons competing for different schools and organizations have the opportunity to become teammates, build relationships, and work toward a shared goal.

The program is designed to complement the development athletes receive through their existing teams by introducing them to new teammates, coaching perspectives, competition, and expectations.

Through competitive evaluations and team preparation, FBU Nebraska seeks to assemble rosters that combine individual ability with teamwork, discipline, and a commitment to representing the state.

The Path to a National Championship

The FBU National Championship is one of the country's premier postseason youth football competitions, bringing together all-star programs from across the United States to compete for national titles.

For FBU Nebraska athletes, the journey extends beyond the regular football season and provides an opportunity to compete against unfamiliar opponents, experience different playing styles, and measure themselves against talented players from other regions.

The ultimate destination is Championship Week in Naples, Florida, where qualifying teams compete at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex for national recognition and championship titles.

FBU Nebraska has already established a presence on that stage. In 2025, Nebraska's seventh-grade team competed at Championship Week, representing the state against some of the nation's top programs.

Every season provides another opportunity to build on that experience, raise expectations, and demonstrate the quality of football being played across Nebraska.

Development Beyond the Regular Season

The FBU Nebraska experience is about more than participating in another tournament.

Players are challenged to adapt to new coaching, learn alongside talented teammates, compete for their roles, and prepare for opponents they may never have faced before.

Our approach emphasizes several fundamental aspects of player development:

• Football fundamentals: Improving position-specific technique, execution, and understanding of the game.
• Competitive growth: Challenging athletes against talented teammates and opponents outside their usual competition.
• Accountability and preparation: Developing the discipline, effort, and attention to detail required to contribute to a competitive team.
• Teamwork and leadership: Building trust with new teammates and learning to contribute toward a common goal.
• Preparation for the next level: Helping athletes understand the physical, technical, and mental demands they will encounter as they progress toward high school football.

While wins and championships are important competitive goals, the value of the experience also comes from the growth athletes achieve along the way.

We want players to leave the program more prepared, more confident, and better equipped for the next stage of their football careers.

Recognizing Nebraska Athletes

FBU Nebraska is committed to celebrating the athletes who represent our state and recognizing their accomplishments both on and off the field.

Our website serves as a central destination for team rosters, player information, highlight film, game results, and individual recognition.

As the program continues to grow, our goal is to build a lasting record of the players and teams who have represented Nebraska in national competition.

This platform also gives families, coaches, and others interested in Nebraska football a way to follow our athletes, discover their accomplishments, and celebrate their success.

Participation in FBU Nebraska does not guarantee recruiting opportunities or individual recognition, but it can provide valuable competitive experiences and opportunities for athletes to demonstrate their abilities.

A Note on Player Information

A player's name, photo, stats, and highlight film go on this site only after a parent or guardian gives written permission on our team intake form, and only once their player's information has been reviewed. Nothing is published automatically.

If you'd like something corrected or taken down, use the "Suggest an Update" link on that player's profile page and we'll take care of it — no account or sign-in required. This note is general information, not legal advice.

Representing Something Bigger

Wearing Nebraska across your chest carries a responsibility.

It means representing more than an individual team or community. It means competing alongside athletes from across the state, respecting the game, supporting teammates, and embracing the opportunity to represent Nebraska on a national stage.

Under the leadership of Program Director Scott Warren and our team coaching staffs, FBU Nebraska aims to create a competitive experience that athletes and families can take pride in.

Our expectations are built around preparation, commitment, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence.

Our goal is not simply to send teams to Naples. It is to build a program that Nebraska's football community can be proud to call its own.
